Albanian Language – Why you should learn it?

Albanian Language – Why you should learn it?

This is cheap, isn’t it?!

Have a look!

Let’s create a shape to a soul which already exists, but no one has noticed it.

It is said that necessity forces human beings to learn what they maybe do not want to. People learn what they need or what will ensure them a better life. A good life can be cheap; this can be hard, but it also brings the advantage of being able to appreciate the small, often unnoticed things in life. Albania also often goes unnoticed, hiding away in a small corner of the Balkan peninsula, but part of our vision at Albestate is to shine this beautiful country in a positive light and bring its many wonderful assets to the forefront. Allow me to provide an answer to some of the questions people have about Albania, its people, the language and investments.

Why would you want to live in Albania?

Living in Albania means understanding our rich culture and appreciating its natural beauty: the captivating shoreline, breathtaking mountains, and rolling fields. Albania also has four distinct seasons – wrap up warm and feel the cold of the winter, experience the inviting warmth of the spring and the summer, and admire the beauty of the Albanian autumn. Arguably, we have the friendliest people in the world – you will be welcomed as a guest and respected for your value as a human being, not your status in society.

Why invest in Albania?

Investing here is easy and has many benefits, for example low prices for electric bills, employee salaries, education, health, and food – just to name a few. Read the FAQs here on our website to find out more about why you should invest in Albania.

Is Albania religious?

In Albania, religion is seen as a way of living and used as a force for good. It doesn’t matter if you follow Catholicism, Islam, Hinduism or even if you are an atheist; what matters is that you contribute to society and show mutual respect.

Is the Albanian language hard?

According to some, Albanian is considered to be one of the most difficult languages in the world, but don’t let other people put you off! Personally, I strongly disagree with this statement – it has difficult aspects, just like any language, but with a bit of effort, drive and determination, becoming proficient in our beautiful and poetic language is an easily attained goal.

If you are an English speaker or speak English as a second language, you’re already one step ahead of the game! You already know most of the sounds in Albanian – it’s a phonetic language, meaning that there are no silent letters and everything is pronounced. Albanian tenses are also quite similar to the ones in English.

People often say that grammatical cases are difficult to learn and to understand. This is not true! Languages are basically simple mathematics – once you have the basics down, the same patterns can be used over and over again. Cases are formed by adding different suffixes to the base form of the word.

I could write a lot more specific points about the grammar, but the main point is that while it could be a challenge, nothing is impossible! Most importantly, the Albanian language is the key to the hearts of the Albanian people – by learning the language, you can understand our hearts and minds, while also gaining a deeper understanding of our culture, history and traditions.
